LILIAN VIEIRA & ROGERIO BICUDO FEAT. ERIC CALMES, TOON ROOS

Lilian Vieira vocals (second set), Rogerio Bicudo guitar, Eric Calmes bass, Toon Roos tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone

With Zuco 103 Lilian Vieira makes masses of people dance at national and international festivals. In a more intimate setting she will perform acoustic samba with guitarist Rogério Bicudo, Toon Roos on saxophone and Eric Calmes on bass, after the break. Before the break Bicudo will perform choro music with Roos and Calmes. Choro is a musical form that originates in the 19th century and that combines European dance music like polka and mazurka with African and Brazilian influences. In Brazil, the choro was pushed aside in popularity by bossa nova. Bicudo and company will revive the typically Brazilian sound.
