LETIERES LEITE & ORKESTRA RUMPILEZZ

The twenty-piece Orkestra Rumpilezz, led by Letieres Leite, is a dazzling Brazilian jazz orchestra that translates Afro-Brazilian rhythms from Bahia into exciting big band jazz. The orchestra, which includes fifteen woodwinds and five percussionists, recently won the Prêmio da Música Brasileira, the most important Brazilian music award, in the categories best new arrival and best instrumental group.
