Leszek Mozdzer, Lars Danielsson, Zohar Fresco & Holland Baroque (Try-out)

Leszek Mozder piano, Lars Danielsson bass, Zohar Fresco percussion, Holland Baroque

Leszek Możdżer is recognized as one of Polish most important jazz musicians of the past decade. In his home country he is a star and he has gained international praise for his unique style, combining jazz and sonic exploration with romantic, melancholic classical music. His previous collaboration with the ensemble Holland Baroque led to a gold album in Poland. This album Earth Particles (2017) was destined to have a follow-up.
Together with bassist Lars Danielsson and percussionist Zohar Fresco, Możdżer has developed a solid collaboration. At the BIMHUIS the trio performs new music together with Holland Baroque, previewing their upcoming release in 2020.

‘From lyrical, modern jazz piano to classical resonances … Leszek Możdżer is a dynamic and sensitive pianist’ (Downbeat).
