From Debussy to drum ‘n’ bass, bebop to Bartok, everything changes in the typical TryTone sounds, like Daphne changes in the Metamophoses of Ovidius, the tales on which this project is based. Emmanuel Scarpa as well as Tobias Klein are members of Man Bites Dog and of the French equivalent collective La Forge. They bring in most original compositions which reminded the Jazzpodium critic of Henry Threadgill, with its versatility, speed and ingenious ways of combining the different instruments.
