Latin Crossroads stages musical crossovers, with Latin jazz as a point of departure. Chinese musician Fang Weling is the special guest in this edition of the concert series in the Bimhuis café. As a virtuoso of the ‘Chinese violin’ erhu she travels all over the world. In the Netherlands her peformances have included those with Ensemble Ziggurat and The Hague Philharmonic. In Latin Crossroads she will meet percussion player Jaime Rodriguez ‘s Latin jazz group , which features top musicians from the Netherlands and Latin America.
Box office and cafe open at 15:30. The restaurant of the Bimhuis is open during and after the Latin Crossroads and will serve ensaladas and fajitas.
