The Konrad Koselleck Big Band is something else. Band leader Koselleck met actor and songwriter Beppe Costa while creating the soundtrack for the upcoming children’s movie Koning van Katoren. During this concert the musicians will live it up in old as well as hypermodern styles, with excursions into Italian music and schlager. Costa used to be a folk musician in Italy before he ended up in the theatre company Orkater. ‘Koselleck has a keen sense of atmosphere, he knows when to slow down or fire up the band… the conviction of an ecstatic big band is phenomenal’ (de Volkskrant).
