One of the shortest nights of the year will be initiated by the Konrad Koselleck Big Band at the Bimhuis, with a view over Amsterdam. The adventurous jazz orchestra plays music inspired by Mendelssohn’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, beside pieces in which the soloists of the band are allowed to shine. ‘Koselleck senses the atmosphere very well… he leads his company flexibly from total euphoria to tongue-in-cheek tragedy’ (Volkskrant).

Afterwards, free admission: DJ PHILIPPONA Jazz Lost & Found
