In the tradition of the world famous Monday Nights Live at the Village Vanguard the Bimhuis presents four big band concerts on Monday this season, hosted by the Konrad Koselleck Big Band. Konrad Koselleck’s band is something else: an adventurous combination of jazz, cabaret, musical, pop, rock, funk, Latin and even classical music. ‘Fabulous, young, sexy musicians. You don’t need more to put on a fantastic show’ (de Volkskrant). Koselleck arranged German songs, from Marlene Dietrich to Rammstein, for Ellen ten Damme and put opera alongside jazz for shows with Claron McFadden. Both singers will be among the many guests during the festive presentation of the CD My Favorites Sing!, the result of six years of the Konrad Koselleck Big Band.
