KIM HOORWEG & THE HOUDINI’S

Kim Hoorweg zang, Angelo Verploegen trompet, Rolf Delfos altsax, Ilja Reijngoud trombone, Erwin Hoorweg piano, Marius Beets bas, Bram Wijland drums

Backed by The Houdini’s, Dutch singer Kim Hoorweg pays tribute to her great example Peggy Lee, who stormed the hit parades with jazz songs and who achieved stardom with her indestructible rendition of Fever. Kim, daughter of Houdini’s pianist Erwin Hoorweg, has achieved much for an 18 year-old; she has already released two albums on the legendary jazz record label Verve and she has collaborated with Candy Dulfer and Trijntje Oosterhuis. ‘A great voice and a super band’ (HP de Tijd).
