about Frog, the famous character by Max Velthuijs, with jazz music by
Tony Overwater and his band.

Kikker swingt! (Frog swings!) is a
children’s concert for young and old. Beautiful and often moving stories
about Frog and his friends flow together with jazz music by the Tony
Overwater Quintet, in a sparkling performance. Famous Frog stories have
inspired original compositions reflecting Max Velthuijs’ love for jazz
and the melancholy tone of the Frog stories.

Max Velhuijs’
stories have become world famous; generations have grown up with the
brave Frog and his friends. Together with Max Velthuijs, Tony Overwater
has created a show and a recording which has been awarded with a Golden
CD. Ever since the passing of Max Velthuijs, actor Nico de Vries,
known for the feature film Otje, has continued telling the stories. A
new album has been recorded which has become a great success as well.
