KESHAVAN MASLAK/HAN BENNINK

The return of Keshavan Maslak (also known as Kenny Millions) to the Bimhuis. In the late 70’s, Maslak was residing in Amsterdam for a couple of years and worked with musicians like Misha Mengelberg, Loek Dikker and Burton Greene but also with a number of musicians from the New York loft jazz scene who frequently stayed in Amsterdam for shorter of longer periods of time. Maslak’s flawless technique, ardent play and large musical flexibility gives him the ability to impress in many different musical fields, like in the duo setting with drummer-without-borders Han Bennink.
