Keep an Eye The Records supports bands starting their career in music. With performances by BVR Flamenco Big Band, EvenSanne and Koeniverse 3.

In this award show three beginner bands win a fully funded CD production worth 10.000 euros. The winners are selected from eight finalists, who have performed earlier in the day before a professional jury at the Amsterdam Blue Note hall of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. The finalists were selected from entries by jazz alumni from the Dutch conservatories.

Alongside the 2016 ceremony, the three winners of the 2015 edition of The Records will perform on stage: BVR Flamenco Big Band, EvenSanne and Koeniverse 3. The evening will be hosted by Co de Kloet.

Keep an Eye The Records is a project of the Keep an Eye Foundation. The Keep an Eye Foundation aims to stimulate the arts and cultural sector by providing platforms on which to explore new ideas and concepts that might shape the future of arts and culture. The foundation has a remit of identifying, nurturing and establishing creative talent during the first steps of their career. The Records aims to support a number of CD productions of beginner bands every year.
