KEEP AN EYE SUMMER JAZZ CONCERT

Keep an Eye Summer Jazz Workshop, initiated by the Amsterdam Conservatory and Manhattan School of Music, New York, motivates the best jazz students from all over the world to take steps towards a professional career. Among the teachers are John Riley (drums), Harmen Fraanje (piano) and Dick Oatts (saxophone). The course programme leads towards a collective concert as Summer Jazz Big Band. Band leader Justin DiCoccio presents rare scores, particularly compositions by Thelonious Monk as arranged by Oliver Nelson for large jazz orchestras.
