The seventh edition of the Karnatic Lab Festival (www.karnaticlab.com) takes place on May 15th, 20th and 25th on three different stages in Amsterdam. During the Bimhuis concert it revolves around vocals. Messing with PVC is created around the extraordinary voice of Martha Mavroidi. Boi Akih’s subtle singing and the evocative compositions of guitarist Brouwer result in literally, boundless improvisation folk. Weshm comes from the Moroccan tradition, ancient Arabian texts and improvisation techniques from East and West with the main goal: a musical trance.

Celebrating jazz since 1974
