JOSHUA REDMAN QUARTET

Joshua Redman tenorsax, Aaron Goldberg, piano, Reuben Rogers bas, Gregory Hutchinson drums

Joshua Redman, ‘the most renowned saxophone player of the last two decades’ (de Volkskrant), is back at the Bimhuis for two concerts. The American tenor hero surpasses himself on his recent CD Walking Shadows. ‘There hasn’t been a more sublimely lyrical gesture in his 20-year recording career’, says New York Times.

Jazz is a living language, according to Joshua Redman, and with this philosophy he effortlessly moves between original compositions, standards, pop and rock covers and even classical music. At these concerts he will perform with his quartet. Previous shows at the Bimhuis were all sold out, so get your tickets as soon as you can!
