Leading power trio from New York formed by tenor sax adventurer Jon Irabagon, featuring double bassist Mark Helias (Open Loose) and drummer Barry Altschul (Paul Bley Trio).

Saxophonist Jon Irabagon has past the phase of rising star; in recent years he was chosen as one of the 25 New York City Jazz Icons and he scored in the Downbeat Critics Polls. He made name with the young, eccentric band Mostly Other People Do The Killing and in his compositions he finds his own way between modern swing and free improvisation. Now he will perform with two older masters who have had a strong influence on him: double bassist Mark Helias (Open Loose) and drummer Barry Altschul (Paul Bley Trio, Dave Holland’s Conference of the Birds).
