JON IRABAGON TRIO FEAT. BARRY ALTSCHUL

Tenor sax player Jon Irabagon has played the Bimhuis before with Mostly Other People Do The Killing. His current trio with bassist Peter Brendler and legendary drummer Barry Altschul refers to the jubilant bebop of Sonny Rollins in many ways; their album is called Foxy, a nod to the Rollins composition Doxy. Also, its cover design is a sexy variation on the cover of Rollins’ Way Out West.
