JOHN LAW’S ART OF SOUND TRIO

The John Law Trio crosses contemporary and traditional piano jazz in an accessible and intelligent manner, with space for subtle electronic effects. British pianist Law is ‘an interesting and highly gifted maverick musician’ (Alfred Brendel). From 1986 on he has played in the improvised music scene with such players asLouis Moholo. In his current project, Art of Sound, he plays both solo and in a trio line-up. ‘If there’s one jazz ensemble on the British scene that wows you with sheer technical brilliance, it’s surely this one’ (Telegraph).
