John Engels will reach the age of 88 and on top of that he will celebrate his platinum jubilee as a drummer with a double concert. The trio with Benjamin Herman on alto saxophone, Joris Teepe oun double bass and John Engels on drums is known for their streaming hit on Spotify ‘The Peacocks’. Engels will also perform with Jan van Duikeren’s JvD4, winner of two Edison Awards for the album Short Stories with Metropole Orchestra Strings. Special guest is DI-RECT singer Marcel Veenendaal.
