JOANNA MACGREGOR & ERIC VLOEIMANS

This season they will perform as a duo for the very first time: concert pianist Joanna MacGregor and trumpet player Eric Vloeimans explore the boundary between jazz and classical music.

Eric Vloeimans, Holland’s most successful trumpet player at the moment, is renowned for his ‘brilliant tone whose range has constantly expanded over the years’ (de Volkskrant). British pianist/composer Joanna MacGregor is world famous for her Bach interpretations and she has performed with basically every renowned orchestra and conductor, for example John Eliot Gardiner, earlier this year at Royal Albert Hall. ‘Joanna MacGregor filled the Goldberg Variations with dancing energy’ (The Telegraph).
