VAN RULLER, ROELOFS & VAN DER FEEN

Guitarist Jesse van Ruller is often praised as a soloist and composer; aside from compliments from Pat Metheny, Jim Hall and John Scofield he received the prestigious Thelonious Monk Award. He is also a fantastic accompanist;with Toots Thielemans he opts for subtlety, but is also able to let it rip with Benjamin Herman.. In his new trio he plays with two internationally renowned talents, saxophone player Joris Roelofs and double bass player Clemens van der Feen. Their album Chambertones is an intimate mix of originals and standards such as Norwegian Wood and Just In Time.
