Tomorrow’s Another Day may be Jeremy Pelt’s most adventurous recording to date, bringing together the beauty of his trumpet playing with experimental beats and sampling. The production got a huge lift from the participation of drummer Deantoni Parks, who previously collaborated with Meshell Ndegeocello and André 3000. Live on stage Jeremy Pelt will be accompanied by his quintet featuring vibraphone super talent Jalen Baker, who also plays on the album.
Jeremy Pelt has become one of the preeminent trumpeters within the world of jazz, with a mighty sound that draws comparisons to legends such as Freddie Hubbard and Lee Morgan. Forging a bond with the Mingus Big Band very early on, as his career progressed, Pelt made name in many other ensembles such as the Roy Hargrove Big Band and The Village Vanguard Orchestra. In his own bands he makes every style contemporary, from swing and bop to soul- and rock-infused jazz.
