JAZZ ORCHESTRA OF THE CONCERTGEBOUW HOME COOKING

During the VNME Ensemble Day (free admission!) the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw offers the audience a look behind the scenes with the program Home Cooking. Led by Henk Meutgeert the orchestra presents highlights out of their 11 year existence with titles from the American Songbook, the European Songbook and the Dutch Songbook including compositions from Jesse van Ruller and Peter Beets. Henk Meutgeert will also bring his own material as recently recorded for the album Riffs ’n Rhythms. Instead of the regular a la carte menu there will be a buffet at the Bimhuiscafé-restaurant, from 7pm, euro 15.
