JAZZ ORCHESTRA OF THE CONCERTGEBOUW & RUBEN HEIN

Singer/pianist Ruben Hein has scored hits with the song Elephants and the album Loose Fit, which were released by the renowned Blue Note label. Prior to this success he had already paid his dues as a jazz pianist. As a singer-songwriter he aims for a blend of Bill Withers’ soul, Radiohead’s versatility and the spaciousness in Miles Davis’ music. Tonight he will sing with ‘the best, most versatile and swinging big band in The Netherlands’ (AD), the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw.

Bimhuis Restaurant opens at 18:30. After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).
