JAZZ ORCHESTRA OF THE CONCERTGEBOUW & JOHN MARSHALL & FERDINAND POVEL

The combination of an exceptional repertoire, guest soloists of global stature and eighteen musicians at the top of the Dutch jazz scene, ensures the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw is one in the best big band tradition. Guests tonight are the Dutch bop tenor player Ferdinand Povel and the American trumpetist John Marshall, who spent his formative years in the big bands of Buddy Rich and Dizzy Gillespie.
