This month’s special guest of the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw is American vocalist Deborah Brown who can also be heard and seen this week in a small setting with Rein de Graaff (see Friday 6th of February). With the JOC she presents a selection from ’the Great American Songbook’ (compositions by Richard Rodgers, Irving Berlin, and Cole Porter) in arrangements of the inexhaustible bandleader Henk Meutgeert.
