JAZZ ORCHESTRA OF THE CONCERTGEBOUW & BENNY GOLSON

Hardbop standards Blues March, Along Came Betty, Whisper Not and I Remember Clifford might well be more famous than composer Benny Golson himself. As a tenor saxophonist he formed the front line of Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers with Lee Morgan. Later in Hollywood he composed music for television series like M*A*S*H and Mission Impossible. Golson plays with the pioneering Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, which regularly performs with world famous soloists.
