‘The best, most versatile and swingingest big band in The Netherlands’ (AD), the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, plays the Bimhuis every month. The 18-piece big band consists of musicians who represent the top of the Dutch jazz scene. The band led by Henk Meutgeert has won such coveted prizes as the Edison Jazz Award for the CD Blues for the Date, which was recorded live at the Bimhuis.
