JAZZ ORCHESTRA OF THE CONCERTGEBOUW & STOCHELO ROSENBERG
GYPSY JAZZ
o.l.v. Henk Meutgeert
Gypsy jazz, the exciting and moving mixture of jazz and Eastern European folk music, was invented in the 1930s by guitarist Django Rheinhardt and violinist Stéphane Grapelli. They have inspired generations of musicians all over the world. The Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw plays unique big band variations on gypsy jazz classics, in collaboration with world class soloist Stochelo Rosenberg of the Rosenberg Trio.
