JASPER BLOM QUARTET

Jasper Blom is known as one of the most versatile Dutch tenor players. As a sideman he has performed with jazz legends and soul heroes, but now he sets his own standard with a new quartet. On the CD Statue of Liberty he intersperses pure, acoustic playing with electronic undertones, backed up by the dazzling distorted notes of guitarist Jesse van Ruller. These four players really speak the same musical language.
