‘Calister writes history in the Bimhuis’, was a headline in the NRC Handelsblad about her debut concert, five years ago. By now she toured all over the world with her ‘dream team’ of Antillean musicians and the group became more mature. Sometimes modest, sometimes expressive and exciting, Izaline blends the traditional music of her island Curaçao with jazz. With ‘Kanta Hélele’ she still follows her own road.
