Marzio Scholten is a leading guitarist and composer for the current jazz and rock generation in The Netherlands. Identikit displays his fascination for both indie rock and jazz; Radiohead, Tortoise and Jaga Jazzist are kindred spirits to him. Identikit is a close-knit band with well-known Dutch jazz musicians. The raw guitar, the frontline with two saxes and the hefty rhythm section create an exciting, energetic sound. Identikit’s releases were highly acclaimed in the press, with among others a 5-star review in Parool.
