The ICP Orchestra for all ages at the children’s afternoon of Bimhuis and Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ. Catchy melodies and crazy tones!
The music of the ICP Orchestra is forever young. These geezers like a good joke or two, and that is why people like them so much. They play music by Misha Mengelberg, the pianist who was part of the gang from when they started out. Drummer Han Bennink keeps on playing all over the world and is known everywhere. He can drum on literally anything. This group can improvise like none other: a unique mix of catchy tunes and crazy tones.
