All ages can join in and sing along on the Zing Zang Mengelberg afternoon with timeless songs by Misha Mengelberg (1935-2017), main composer for the world famous ICP Orchestra.
Misha Mengelberg’s songs are often funny and moving at the same time, with catchy melodies and crazy tones. Misha was the main composer of singular ICP Orchestra, which has been around for half a century. Drummer Han Bennink is still part of the gang and is known all over the world. He can drum on literally anything. The songs will be performed by vocalist Greetje Bijma, baritone Mattijs van de Woerd and accordionist Otto Lechner. Everyone, young and old, can sing along!
The Bimhuis restaurant is open after the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via 020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).
