No other Dutch music group is this skilled at melting music and theatre, modern jazz and vaudeville together as I Compani is. In this new project the always visual music of the ensemble accompanies eight films about the essence of the concept of circus. You will not find clowns, acrobats or wild animals but the reflection on timing, illusion, deception, meaningless tours de force, exoticism and absurdity. Five composers created the music, among which band leader Bo van de Graaf, who is actually descending from an Italian circus family.
