I Compani titillates more senses than just hearing; the ensemble connects jazz to film, theatre, poetry and dance. I Compani celebrates its 25th anniversary with Mangiare, a show about music, film and food. Aside from a movie about the orchestra members and their personal tastes clips will be shown from films that feature food. Most of the alternatingly sweet, bitter and juicy music was written by the orchestra’s founder and leader, Bo de Graaff. To top it all off, there will be new arrangements of classic pieces from the past.
