Sidsel Endresen, who recorded albums with Bugge Wesseltoft and Nils-Petter Molvær, has an unique vocal sound, uniting jazz timbres with spoken word structures. ‘For nearly three decades Sidsel Endresen has been seeking out unusual settings for her parched, lovely singing’ (Chicago Reader). For her first performance at Bimhuis the singer collaborates with Norwegian duo Humcrush. Thomas Strønen’s sparse, tight percussion brings to mind minimal techno. With his icy, but funky synthesizer style Ståle Storløkken is described as ‘a missing link between Brian Eno and Herbie Hancock’ (BBC).
