HET PAPIER-ENSEMBLE (Bimhuis Studio 1)

The Paper Ensemble combines art installation and music performance, and is the result of two years of research into the musical possibilities of paper. Is it possible to create sounds with this material capable of firing the imagination? Aside from all kinds of noise, can paper produce clear tones? Five instruments were created with paper: sheet, wad, spring, buzzer, horn. During the performances the instruments will be played by Jochem van Tol and Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti.
