HET DERDE RECITAL

A recital by twelve cello players and a pianist. The jubilant second sonata by Mendelssohn sets the tone of this recital, which also includes music by Julius Klengel (1859-1933), a household name for cello players. The twelve musicians prove that Klengel has more to offer than exercises and etudes alone. His cello quartet reveals his fondness for Mendelssohn.
