Harmonica, cello, piano and a very melodic drummer set the unusual scene at this CD presentation.

Hermine Deurloo, jazz musician on chromatic harmonica, and Rembrandt Frerichs, who combines piano and harmonium, have been playing together since 2013. Many concerts later they have developed a solid bond. At the Bimhuis they’ll perform with cello player Jörg Brinkmann and percussionist Julian Sartorius.

Hermine Deurloo is internationally renowned as a leading chromatic harmonica performer who has developed a unique style. She performs with large orchestras and can be heard in movie soundtracks. As a former member of the Willem Breuker Kollektief she has toured all over the world.

Pianist Rembrandt Frerichs has been called an ‘an adventurer of the keys’ (Trouw) and ‘a master on his instrument’ (de Volkskrant). His music contains the drive of American jazz and the lyricism of Eastern music.
