HEIN VAN DE GEYN & PAULIEN VAN SCHAIK MET SPECIALE GAST BERT JORIS

Several years ago, looking for a musical adventure, jazz singer/songwriter Paulien van Schaik and bass player Hein van de Geyn found each other in a series of daring duo performance. In the year 2001, their collaboration resulted in the impressive CD ‘Tenderly’ for which they received the Edison Jazz Public Award. For their second CD, ‘In Summer’, they searched for a third musician who would connect in sound and character. The Belgian trumpet player Bert Joris turned out to be the partner they dreamed of. ‘Hein and Paulien touched the naked truth on their first CD, with Bert Joris, a perfect harmony comes into being’ (Han Reiziger).
