HAROLD LÓPEZ-NUSSA TRIO

Young Cuban pianist Harold López-Nussa has been steadily gaining increased recognition with his fluent style of playing. As a kid he performed with symphony orchestras, but eventually he dedicated himself to jazz and Cuban music. He became the pianist of choice for singer Omara Portuondo. Now he will perform with saxophonist Grammy winner David Sanchez, who excels in Latin jazz and who collaborated with Dizzy Gillespie and Paquito D’Rivera. ‘Mr. Sanchez plays with unforced authority and a searching, smoldering cadence’ (New York Times).
