HARMEN FRAANJE TRIO & TONY MALABY

When pianist Harmen Fraanje received carte blanche from the November Music Festival he seized the opportunity to invite Tony Malaby, currently one of the most in-demand saxophone players in New York. They hit it off immediately and continued their collaboration. Fraanje’s broad, logically structured improvisations are the perfect match for Malaby’s exciting saxophone playing. ‘Malaby’s not content with just beauty.
