HALVE FINALE DUTCH JAZZ COMPETITION 2014

Prominent competition for young, new and outstanding Dutch jazz groups. The winner will perform at the North Sea Jazz Festival.

The biennial Dutch Jazz Competition is a contemporary contest for young, new and outstanding Dutch jazz groups. The event was initiated by North Sea Jazz, the NTR broadcasting company and the NTB, NVPI and Buma music organizations. This year’s semi-finals will take place at the Bimhuis (May 7) and Paradox, Tilburg (May 14) and the finals will take place at LantarenVenster, Rotterdam (May 16). The winner will perform at the North Sea Jazz Festival and join the Young VIPs Tour, playing at prominent Dutch venues and festivals.

The Bimhuis restaurant is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via 020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).
