The Guy Salamon Group features eight musicians from almost as many countries: The Netherlands, Israel, Scotland, Korea, Catalonia and Portugal. Their new album Creatures! Creatures! is just as colorful, with a mix of styles like jazz, folk, and experimental music. The band will celebrate the release of the album, of which the music was composed by the Israelian drummer and band leader Guy Salamon.
Previously, the band has left quite an impression with its debut album Unfollow the Leader, which has won the first prize in the competition Keep an Eye – The Records. Guy Salamon has played in other bands with, among others, Jesse van Ruller, Reinier Baas, Jasper Blom, and Tineke Postma. Some of his group’s members have already performed on our stage as band leaders: Ian Cleaver, Teis Semey, Youngwoo Lee, and Xavi Torres.
