GUILLERMO KLEIN, AARON GOLDBERG, CHRIS CHEEK, MIGUEL ZENON

Guillermo Klein has a pleasing, slightly frayed voice and plays simple, but effective piano. This Argentinean-Spanish musician owes his reputation to his attractive compositions, that have much in common with the work of Piazzolla, Wayne Shorter and such European composers as Messiaen. He spent a relatively short time as a resident in New York but musicians from the downtown scene still love to work with him. Currently his cast of collaborators consists of Miguel Zénon, Aaron Goldberg and Chris Cheek.
