Kay Slice is a true storyteller, a hip-hop kid with a Ghana soul. With his soulful voice, he follows his own path through the music world. Hip-hop, afrobeat and soul: it’s all connected through his songs, stories and poems. You will hear how he feels connected to West-Africa and all the sounds coming from there. From Ghanian drums, for example. Or from the balafon, an ancient instrument full of melody.

But Kay Slice’s music is more than meets the ear. He channels a movement. His sound moves beyond borders, blending highlife rhythms and poetic verses into a sonic force that connects the soul of Africa with its scattered children across the globe. Kay Slice imagines a future where everyone is connected through music, poetry and art. And where past and present come together in indestructible grooves.

Kay Slice vocals, Kweku Mensah gitar, Anton de Bruin keys, Thijmen Molema drums, Sway Papa bass
