Two of the greatest new stars on the international jazz firmament. Gretschen Parlato, winner of the Thelonious Monk Jazz Vocals Competition of 2004 is as much at home in samba and African grooves as in jazz. ‘A singer with a deep, almost magical connection to the music’ is what Herbie Hancock said about her.
