Every one of their concerts is a breathtaking display of music’s power to unite, heal, dream, merge and elevate. This is proven by their recent Latin Grammy-winning album Live in Marciac. Expect timeless latin jazz songs in bright and flamboyant versions, alongside original songs by these childhood friends.

Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Aymée Nuviola have known each other since their youth in Cuba and have only recently formed a duo. Gonzalo Rubalcaba, who descends from a lineage of Cuban virtuosos, was discovered at a young age by Dizzy Gillespie. Piano & Keyboard Magazine selected him as one of the great pianists of the twentieth century, alongside figures such as Glenn Gould, Martha Argerich and Bill Evans. He won three Grammys and three Latin Grammys.

Aymée Nuviola has also received multiple Grammy Awards. The singer was selected among the most influential figures in Miami. She’s an ambassador of latin music in its many different forms. Aymée is one of the founders of the timba genre, the Cuban counterpart of salsa. In her music she fuses many different genres into a danceable urban mix, for example son, guaguancó, guaracha, charanga, bolero, pop and jazz.
