The powerful, lyrical bass lines of Giulia Valle have been compared with those of the legendary Charlie Haden. Valle writes music that evokes many different atmospheres and stories and influences from tango, Brazilian and Eastern European music. It reveals her background in classical music and her years of experience with jazz and improvisation. Giulia Valle was born in Italy, cut her teeth in Paris and New York and currently leads various bands in Barcelona.
